Located in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, this through girder bridge crosses North Milwaukee Avenue near N. Kenton Avenue.
Built in 1899, the bridge features three through girder spans, set onto stone and steel substructures. It appears that little alterations have been made to the bridge.
As one of the earliest ordered track elevations in Chicago, this bridge and the others in the area feature steel structures. The stone substructures on this bridge have been painted recently.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with minimal significant deterioration.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design and large numbers of similar bridges in the area.
